None of it is required, but it makes the first two minutes of the call far more useful.
- What you burn: wood, gas, pellets or oil.
- Roughly when the chimney was last swept or inspected.
- What you have noticed: smoke rolling into the room, a weak draft, staining, a damper that sticks or crumbling crown mortar.
- Whether the visit is tied to a sale, a closing or an insurance request.
