Pellet stoves vent differently from a wood stove or fireplace. Clearances to combustibles are set by the specific stove's listing, not by pellet stoves as a category, so the manufacturer's specification sheet drives exactly how far the unit needs to sit from walls, trim, and furniture. A hearth pad rated for the stove's weight and heat output is typically required underneath and in front of it, and getting these numbers right the first time avoids having to move the stove later.

Commissioning is the last step and it matters as much as the installation itself. That means calibrating the auger's feed rate and combustion air settings for the specific pellets and altitude, testing the exhaust blower's draft, and confirming the unit ignites, runs, and shuts down the way it should before we consider the job finished. A chimney inspection of any existing flue happens first if the installation involves tying into one, and ongoing appliance issues after installation, feed problems, ignition faults, and the like, are handled as a separate repair service once the stove has been running for a while.
