This website is operated by Local Chimney Services, a chimney sweeping, inspection and repair business serving Greenwich, CT and the surrounding lower Fairfield County communities. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean that business.

The content here is informational
Everything written on this site describes chimney work in general terms so that a homeowner can understand what a service involves. It is not a professional inspection, not a diagnosis of your chimney, not a binding quote and not a guarantee that a particular service is available on a particular date. Chimneys differ enormously from house to house, and only a technician standing at your firebox can tell you what yours actually needs.
How estimates work
Estimates are provided only after an on-site assessment of the chimney, flue, crown, cap and appliance involved. Anything discussed beforehand, on the phone or on this website, is a general description of the work rather than an agreed scope or figure. A booking is confirmed when we confirm it with you directly, and work proceeds on the terms agreed at that point.
Intellectual property
The text, page layouts, photographs, illustrations, logo and other material on this site belong to Local Chimney Services or are used with permission. You are welcome to read the pages, print them for your own reference and share a link to them. Republishing the content, reusing the images or presenting any part of the site as your own is not permitted without written consent.
